It might take you two months to wrap your head around what needs to be done to systematize your business. Don’t focus on changing today, just start thinking today. Look at your business with fresh eyes and finally be honest with yourself. This honesty and perspective will show you what you need to do about your problems.
Systems thinking mindset
Most people understand the benefit of systems fairly quickly. Once in a while, though, someone struggles.
I once had a client who insisted on cleaning every toilet herself. She didn’t have to do that! She needed systems so her team could take over the responsibility.
It took five years of coaching to break through her resistance to building systems. She needed control and couldn’t let go. She didn’t trust systems. One day she finally broke down and couldn’t keep going anymore.
She gave the systems a chance, and everything changed. She was suddenly free. Relaxed. Her business was running better than ever. She just had to get out of her own way.
Systematizing your business will take as long as it takes.
